Crowdfill terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and dyrt.io ("we", "us"), the publisher of the Crowdfill browser extension. By installing or using Crowdfill you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What Crowdfill is
Crowdfill is a free browser extension that generates responses for Google Forms and, when you tell it to, submits them. It is meant for people who build and own forms: to test them, to load-test them, to produce demo and sample data, and to show what results look like when respondents lean a certain way.
The source code is published under the MIT License. That license governs copying and modifying the code. These terms govern your use of the extension we distribute, our website and our support.
2. Using it responsibly
You may only use Crowdfill on forms that you own, or that you have clear permission from the owner to test. You are responsible for every response Crowdfill sends on your behalf, and for following our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
In particular, you must not use Crowdfill to manipulate surveys, polls, votes, contests, research or any other form run by someone else.
3. Other services
Crowdfill talks to services we don't control:
- Google Forms. You must follow Google's terms of service and policies when you use Crowdfill with Google Forms. Google can change how forms work at any time, which may stop Crowdfill from working until we update it.
- Anthropic (optional). If you add your own Claude API key, requests go straight from your browser to Anthropic under your own account and Anthropic's terms. You pay Anthropic for that usage.
Crowdfill is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or Anthropic. Google Forms is a trademark of Google LLC.
4. Your data
Crowdfill runs on your device and we don't collect your data. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
5. Price
Crowdfill is free. If that ever changes, the change will only apply to features released after we tell you, and these terms will be updated before any payment is asked for.
6. No warranty
We work hard to make Crowdfill reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, or that every submission will be accepted by Google.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or for how you choose to use Crowdfill, including any consequences of submitting responses to a form. Our total liability to you for anything related to Crowdfill is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last twelve months (currently nothing) and 100 euros.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for gross negligence or intent, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
8. If you break these terms
If you use Crowdfill in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top and, where reasonable, mention it in the extension's changelog. Continuing to use Crowdfill after a change means you accept the new terms.
You can stop using Crowdfill at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing or supporting it at any time.
10. Names and logos
"Crowdfill" and the Crowdfill logo belong to dyrt.io. The MIT License lets you use the code, but not our name or logo in a way that suggests your project is ours or is endorsed by us.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU or EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
